The process of "Anerkennung" in Germany refers to the official recognition of professional and educational qualifications acquired abroad. This is especially important for individuals from non-EU countries who wish to work or continue their vocational development in Germany.

Recognition ensures that foreign qualifications are evaluated against German standards. It allows skilled workers to access regulated professions, apply for appropriate positions, and receive fair compensation for their level of training.
